student and family responsibility
Students agree to show up to lessons on time, with their clarinet and working reeds, and music materials. Students agree to showing up with their assignments well-prepared. Students will make sure to practice at home throughout the week. Parents, please feel free to reach out with anything that might be happening at school or at home that might be affecting your child. This helps me be even more sensitive to your child’s needs.
reschedules and cancellation policy
Please provide at least 24 hours advance notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a lesson. If less than 24 hours notice is given, that lesson will not be eligible for rescheduling, unscheduling, or cancellation. Outside of the 24 hour window, lessons eligible for rescheduling must take place within the month the original lesson was scheduled. If a rescheduled lesson is missed, it will not be eligible for rescheduling a second time.
If needing to cancel a lesson and rescheduling is not an option, please provide as much advance notice as possible.
If you plan to stop taking lessons please let me know at least 2 weeks in advance. If you plan to return to taking lessons after some time away, please know that your previous lesson slot is not reserved, and may have been filled by another student. Lesson slots are first come first serve.
In the event of an emergency, please message me so we can figure things out. 🙂
If the instructor must cancel the lesson for any reason, it will be made up at the earliest convenience for the student. If the instructor is running late, the student will still receive their entire lesson duration, however, if the student is late, the instructor will only give the student the remainder of time in their slot.
