This month I’ve stumbled across some really wonderful music. My first thought was “I HAVE to share these with others!” And so I got the idea of creating blog entries every once in a while when I have music that I’d like to share with you. Here is my first set of music discoveries, enjoy!
Les Fo’Plafonds– What?! This group from France is SO FUN (even their name is FUN to say!) and will have you smiling the entire time you’re watching them perform. AND they’ll inspire you to make music with EVERYTHING in your house!
The Woodgies– HARMONIES! Gosh, vocal harmonies ALWAYS get me. They send shivers through my entire being. This short clip of Irish/Swiss sister duo is sure to captivate and move you.
Phoebe Sanders– Ok, I’ve got to admit there have been several times in my life that I’ve thought about learning the banjo. I’ve always liked its “twang” and I’m a big fan of folk music. When I came across Phoebe playing her banjo accompanied by “Tiny Gilligan” I: 1. Couldn’t stop laughing/smiling. 2. Was extremely impressed by Tiny Gilligan’s dance moves- they’re right on with the music. Where’d this amazing tiny dance come from?! 3. Was charmed and might’ve thought about learning the banjo once again.
